Party Portraits

It was done! We were married, joined together as one flesh! I was Mrs. Aaron Batdorf, and suddenly all the cares and stress of the day dissolved. I no longer cared if the announcements were made correctly after the recessional; I no longer cared if the hor d'oeuvres were displayed beautifully or if guests were enjoying them. I was walking away on the arm of my groom. I see why people take their portraits immediately after the wedding; it's because you're still smiling so genuinely.
As you can see, the butterfly feelings weren't too overwhelming, because my bridal party snapped me out of it enough for some fun photos as well. They sure were an interesting bunch... but they really do love us!

You see the junior groomsman on the left there, just keep your eye on him throughout most of this...

Just some of the highlights from the bridal party and family portraits today. I had to leave a little preview of the Bride & Groom shots that will be coming tomorrow, though. Our photographer did such a great job with the couple portraits, I can't wait to share them with you all tomorrow! Hope you enjoyed these portraits! What makes each one of these photos beautiful is not the lighting, angles, and filters, its the joy in the smiles of every person giving their blessing and sharing this wonderful day with us.
