It is impossible to believe how well it all came together. So many people threw themselves into doing whatever it took to make this dream a reality. From my mother's eye for flower arrangements to Jason & Carla's vision of the perfect altar, every detail of this wedding was hand crafted. Bridesmaids throwing doilies, or "foilies" as they would come to be known, young Timmy having the best solution for decorating the head table, improvising, tossing glitter, and "folding" napkins just the right way in the very last minutes before "I do". In the hands of my planner and friend, Kacee, the process was so smooth. This wedding is special because of the hearts and hands that labored over it so lovingly.

Don't worry, we didn't forget the chairs. We used the same chairs for the ceremony downstairs and then moved them upstairs for the reception. #savvybride
Inspired by Aaron's love of books, our mutual love for coffee, and my gold engagement ring, our decorating became more personal and classic than we had originally imagined.
Such a beautiful cake made by one of our very talented students and topped with a gold antique frame holding a photo of the bride as a flower girl at age 3 and the groom as a ring bearer at age 4. If the simplistic charm of it wasn't enough, the white velvet cake with vanilla butter-cream frosting paired with a delicate strawberry filling between layers makes this $75 cake worth every penny. #savvybride #helpinghands #creativity #weddincake
With everything in place, it was time to get ourselves ready for a stroll down the aisle and into the rest of our lives.
